This weekend I’ve been covering the Vancouver Asian Film Festival for Schema Magazine. I’ve seen 18 films and covered the opening gala. Tomorrow I will cover another film and the closing party. It’s tiring but the Q&A sessions after the films have been enlightening. Not only can I take ideas from the filmmakers and relate them to music, but they give me information for my budding interest in the visual side of film. Me, amateur filmmaker? Well, we’ll see.
